Alaina is a 2022 graduate of Salmon P. Chase College of Law. While in law school, Alaina wrote and published an article discussing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the legal system, specifically pre-trial release, and interned for the Bath County Attorney’s office. She also earned a B.A. in Criminology from Morehead State University in 2017.
Prior to attending law school, Alaina served as an AmeriCorps member with DOVES of Gateway, where she assisted domestic violence survivors in becoming financially independent. She also worked with the organization as a victim advocate while attending law school. DOVES will always hold a special place in her heart.
Previously, Alaina worked as a Legislative Committee Analyst with the Legislative Research Commission in Frankfort. For more than two years, Alaina drafted dozens of pieces of legislation related to election law and frequently worked alongside legislators and other state government officials. When the position at White Peck Carrington became available, she was eager to be closer to home and practice law within her community.
Alaina currently resides in her hometown of Owingsville with her husband and is the proud mother of one beautiful daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and visiting local food and vendor festivals across the state.
